Oakland Community College Holiday Video

As part of Oakland Community College’s communication strategy, VC2 has been engaged for the last several years to create energy and excitement around a final holiday message to students, faculty and staff. Our goal is to build a fun, inclusive video that connects to the themes and new initiatives happening at the school, while building social content for the communication team.

These short, award-winning videos have featured culinary teams, reimagined “The Night before Christmas” and placed the mascot in multiple holiday movies. In 2025, we pivoted to create a piece that was thought-provoking and fun, creating a fictional “Institute for Joy Research” – showing how the spirit of joy can be transformational
to students and staff.
